What we do is we help children with down syndrome to achieve their maximum potential so that they can actually go to a special educations in the government school. We trained babies from as young as 2 months old and we help them to achieve their developmental muscle. At the same time, we also help parents not only children. We have the parents support group that we mentor for the first time being parents. How we help the parents ?  By giving an opportunity to be counsel relate them to meet other parents so they can share their experiences. Kiwanis Down Syndrome's Foundation provides 3 major education programmes and we use the Robert Dellar’s curriculum. We also have a specialist therapist to educate parents . We teach the parents what to do and we teach them how to sing a song. We also have a theater training for them. There are 7 centres in Malaysia and each of the centre is actually supported by the Kiwanis Club. KDSF have close to 150 children, 20 over staff and it is managed by the Kiwanis club members who are volunteer. The founder of KDSF is a volunteer. This is what we do , we provide a special education programme with vision and speech therapist as well.
